The ProForm Pro 9000 is the most cutting-edge home treadmill available today.

The 20″ x 60″ running surface, 3.6 CHP motor, and reasonably sturdy frame are the highlights of this treadmill. The highlight is the high-definition 22-inch touchscreen, which works splendidly with iFit. In terms of treadmills in the moderate price range, however, it has intense competition from brands like Sole and NordicTrack.

ProForm Pro 9000

ProForm Pro 9000 Treadmill Overview

The Pro 9000 is a commercial-quality treadmill, so it can handle a lot of walking. On its sizeable 22-inch HD touchscreen, powered by iFit, you can enjoy the trainer-led live studio and on-demand destination classes.

The NordicTrack treadmill you’re looking at has a maximum incline of 12% and a minimum decline of -3%, so you can do incline workouts if you choose. You can jog downhill on this treadmill to strengthen your glutes and quadriceps. Running or walking uphill burns more calories.

The Pro 9000’s ample 20″ x 60″ running deck features ReBound cushioning to lessen the impact on your knees, hips, and ankles, and the machine’s integrated 2-speed fan will keep you cool while you work out. The deck of this treadmill can be folded up quickly and simply when not in use, making it ideal for small spaces.

If you’re searching for a treadmill that won’t break the bank but will still help you reach your fitness and weight loss objectives, the ProForm Pro 9000 is a great alternative.

The Pro 9000 is unique among ProForm treadmills because of its robust motor. The belt is driven by a 3.6 CHP Commercial Plus motor, the same drive used in ProForm’s Boston Series of marathon trainer treadmills.

The console for the Pro 9000 treadmill includes ProForm’s top-of-the-line LCD screen. The high-resolution content on this 10″ touchscreen is perfect for viewing while working out or surfing the web.

Power incline and decline with maximums of 3% and 12% are also notable features. You can either operate the ramp manually or have a computerized exercise program do it for you. When iFit Coach is set up, you can change the treadmill’s incline to match any road or trail on Google Maps. The maximum speed for the tread belt is 12 miles per hour.

The 9000 has a wireless heart rate monitor and a chest strap that you can use with the contact pulse readers that come with the bike and attach to the handlebars. The console has extras like a spot to rest a tablet computer, two-inch Bluetooth speakers, ventilation for exercise, and a spot to keep a water bottle.

When you need to free up some room on the ground, fold up our SpaceSaver treadmill and store it vertically.

The ProForm Pro 9000 treadmill is powered by a high-quality 3.6 CHP Mach Z Commercial Plus motor. It is suitable for long runs, interval training, and frequent use.

The running surface of the Pro 9000 is 20 inches wide and 60 inches long, making it slightly larger than the average treadmill track. The space is large enough for everyone to spread out and take strides.

With incline and declining settings, you can get in shape faster and feel like you’re working outside. The Pro Series of treadmills provides for electronic adjustments of the incline (up to 12%) and decline (down to 3%).

Treadmills from the Pro Series have decks cushioned with ProShox to make running on them safer and more comfortable than on concrete or asphalt. The Pro 9000’s cushioning system can absorb up to 28% of an impact’s force. The air-based cushioning technology reduces impact when you step down by compressing an air chamber in the deck.

The Pro 9000 is a SpaceSaver treadmill that folds up neatly for storage. To conserve room on the dance floor, you can lift the deck into a vertical position with the help of the shock-assist feature; when you unlock the deck, it will return to the floor with a soft thud.

ProForm Pro 9000 Console

Using the Pro 9000’s 22″ screen and your home Wi-Fi, you can access iFit Coach. The most talked-about perk is the ability to simulate outdoor training conditions indoors. The treadmill’s automated ramp can help you simulate the ups and downs of a route you plot on Google Maps. Views of streets from Google Maps can be displayed on your screen if and when they become accessible.

iFit Coach also lets you wirelessly track your progress, access a library of high-definition videos with celebrity trainers, and download a new, custom-made workout every day.

The Pro 9000 has two-inch speakers, so you can listen to your favorite tunes as you work out.

Those who purchase a Pro 9000 treadmill will have their choice between two different heart rate tracking systems. Choose between wireless telemetry (a chest strap is provided) and handlebar grips.

Workout Programs

There are 40 training apps included on the console, so expert coaching during your workouts is just a click away. Each exercise program may customize the 9000’s belt speed and incline. You can select four objectives: speed, weight loss, incline training, and intensity.

Also, iFit works with the console of the Pro 9000 treadmill, so you can have as many personal training sessions as you want (membership is required). The 22-inch touchscreen lets users access various features, such as personalized workout routines, virtual outdoor training along Google Maps routes, high-definition video workouts from well-known personal trainers, automated stat tracking, and more.

iFit Coach’s Google Maps workouts are highly engaging since they let you adjust the tread track’s incline to mimic real-world landscapes and even use Google Street View.

Is the ProForm Pro 9000 Worth It?

The Pro 9000 is one of the best treadmills that ProForm has to offer. It has a powerful motor and cutting-edge technology. It is made to withstand strenuous training while making workouts more fun. Service calls aren’t likely needed for this high-end treadmill, which is a plus since poor customer service is a common complaint about ProForm.

If you want a heavy-duty treadmill and value a 22-inch HD touchscreen, the Pro 9000 is a fantastic option.

But if you only need a simple cardio machine, the cheaper Pro 5000 might be a better choice.
