New to yoga?
A yoga practice can bring positive changes to your day even after ONE class. Some benefits you’ll notice right away include: a calmer mind, body awareness, and an awakened connection with LIFE. Whether you are looking to increase your flexibility, condition your body, quell your mind, or (re)claim your INSPIRATION– yoga can assist you! Continued practice furthers these benefits and facilitates healthy connections on many levels — within ourselves, our relationships, our world at large
Truth: Yoga feels good. AND, if you already feel good– amazing! A yoga practice can help you stay well both physically and mentally. Yoga practices will change your mind and EMPOWER you to meet your potential.
You are welcome to take ANY class, but please let your teacher know you are new to yoga. We are here to support your flow.
Additionally, we highly recommend that new students and new flow students take our Fundamental Flow Workshop or CHILL Flow class. Fundamental Flow provides a great tools for any and every yoga class, by giving you nuanced instruction about posture (asana), breath (pranayama), and offering flow modifications. CHILL Flow moves at a luxurious pace helping you explore postures and vinyasa right from your first breath.

Yes, our studio is warm but it's NOT hot yoga. We keep the room at a comfortable 80-85 degrees. This keeps helps warm and open your body to the poses without melting you into a puddle by the end of class. We do recommend that you bring a water bottle to rehydrate during or after class. Mat towels can be helpful too if your mat tends to get slippery throughout the practice.
New student discount?
Yes, we have a new student discount. It is 3 classes for $20 and you have 15 days to use the classes. This offer is valid for new students only! Sign up for the new student pass in person or online through our Mind Body page.
Mat & Towel Rental?
Yes, we rent yoga mats for $2.00. We offer one free hand towel for your use during practice.
Is Pre-registration Required?
Drop-ins are welcome! No need to sign up.
Though, we recommend signing up online for a class in advance here so we know you're coming! Please arrive 10 minutes before your class. If you have not arrived 5 minutes before class time, TGY reserves the right to offer your spot to a friend on the waitlist. Doors to the studio open at least 15 minutes before class start time and will be closed for community safety 5 minutes after class start time. There is no entry after doors are locked.
Classes reserved using our Online Scheduler may be canceled up until 24 hours before class time. No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours will be deducted from your class card. All workshops and special events require a full 48 hours for a full refund.
Our studio is located on 31st and Division St. We recommend allowing a few extra minutes to find parking (during peak evening hours). You best bet to park is north of Division between 3oth and 33rd. Street parking is FREE!

We will offer a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher training. Learn more about our teacher training program here.
All of our teachers are trained in offering prenatal adjustments. Please talk directly with your teacher before practice. During pregnancy, we recommend modifying and/or skipping inversions, deep backbends, and deep twists. We also recommend using props to support your body. Each trimester is different, please modify appropriately. Please be aware of your body and talk with your healthcare provider before joining this practice during your pregnancy.
